Winnie Lee

Program Manager

As the Program Manager of Hostage US, Winnie oversees the development and management of the Family Support Program. Winnie manages the team of Support Coordinators working directly with families and returning hostages and wrongful detainees. Together with our strategic partners and individual contributors, Winnie ensures that families coping during a kidnapping get the support they need and returning captives find a path to recovery and reintegration.

Winnie holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts from the George Washington University. Before joining Hostage US, Winnie worked as a designer, entrepreneur, educator, and artist. Winnie is a creative thinker, a problem solver, and is passionate about social support, travel, and well-being.

“I am honored and humbled to be a part of the dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate team at Hostage US. I am motivated to do whatever I can, together with our volunteers and strategic partners, to make sure that no family or former hostage has to walk this path alone.”
