McCall Phillips


McCall Phillips is the Coordinator at Hostage US. McCall’s first internship was with Hostage US in 2017 and she has remained involved in the mission ever since. Alongside her work at Hostage US, McCall is a Community Lead at #NatSecGirlSquad- a professional network geared toward women in the national security space that seeks to build a more resilient, capable, and agile national security and defense workforce.

Prior to joining the Hostage US team, McCall spent nine months as a National Security and Intelligence Analysis Intern at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) where she focused on Iran’s Axis of Resistance throughout the Levant and later joined the Ukraine-Russia crisis team.

McCall graduated from Tulane University in 2021 with a BA in Homeland Security, International Relations, and a minor in Arabic. She will be attending law school starting in Fall 2023.
