Hostage US 2026 Annual Reception
May 6, 2026 | Washington, DC
Thank You for Making Our 10th Anniversary Annual Reception a Remarkable Success
As we reflect on our 10th Anniversary Annual Reception, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who helped make the evening so meaningful.
Sponsors, donors, former hostages, family members, volunteers, and friends came together to celebrate a decade of service and to affirm a simple but powerful truth: no American held hostage or wrongfully detained abroad, and no family member, should face this journey alone.
The sold-out reception was a powerful reminder that this mission resonates across sectors and experiences. Because of the generosity of our supporters, we not only filled the room, but also achieved our fundraising goal, giving Hostage US the resources and momentum to move into our next decade with confidence.
While the reception has ended, our work continues every day. Hostage US provides free, long-term, trauma-informed support to families during captivity and to returning hostages as they navigate what comes next.
